Prince ‘Abdul Mateen, who accompanied His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam during His Majesty’s State Visit to Bangladesh on October 15-17, 2022, has brought 14 large boxes containing 160 pairs of shoes and sets of clothes for underprivileged children in Bangladesh.

The High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Dhaka received the gifts during His Majesty’s arrival for the State Visit and entrusted Muslim Aid-UK, Bangladesh Country Office to help distribute the gifts to underprivileged children between 2-6 years of age.

The High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Dhaka had a meeting with the Zareen Khair, Country Director and Md. Abdur Rahim , Head of Strategic Partnerships , Muslim Aid UK Bangladesh Country Office at the High Commission Office in Baridhara, Dhaka. The representatives expressed their thanks to The High Commissioner.

A total of 160 gift packs were provided and out of these 60 packages of gift have been distributed among 60 underprivileged children in Muslim Aid Institute of Technology, Mirpur, Dhaka on 26 October 2022. His Excellency Haji Haris Bin Othman, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam was present at the event. Also was present the Country Director, Heads of Strategic Partnerships and Programs and local elites. The Chairman, Secretary and Principal thanked all guests.
